Purchased a number of things over the years, and have yet to have a seamless transaction. A lot of the time the stock i buy is damaged and a refund is denied, a clear violation of consumer rights. Even dressed this with them yet they deny any wrong doing. Purchased online took months for shoes to arrive as they didn't even ship them. Complete mismanagement on every level. Avoid at all costs. No premium experience given considering the premium price tag.
A pair of shoes that I liked were out of stock online so I called the Newcastle store to see if, by any chance they'd have some in stock. I described the style, gave her the price and the brand, I was thrilled to be told that they were in store and that I'd be able to pick them up in an hour. Within one hour I was at the store to collect the shoes and well.. they weren't the right ones. The assistant handed over a flip-flop with a bow on it, not a flowery pump, she was not sorry for my inconvenience and didn't do anything else to help. After a busy day, wasted petrol and parking to pay for, I wasn't best pleased about the experience or the service.
I have now made two purchases off the cruise fashion website and I have to say the customer service in both instances has been beyond disgraceful. They should be embarrassed. In the first instance I bought a pair of gina shoes and 3 days after I had paid for them, I received an email from paypal saying I had been refunded the money. I received no communication from cruise as to why and after more than 5 phone calls, a voicemail and an email, I finally received a response to say that they were out of stock of the item I purchased. They weren't out of stock, they simply had put the wrong colour on their website and nobody thought to first ask if I would like the other colour instead. Moreover, after a further few emails stating my thoughts of the company's customer satisfaction policies I received a 10%off code off non sale items. This was clearly not useful as cruise knew the item I was attempting to purchase was a sale item.I thought I would then give the company the benefit of the doubt and I bought a suit as a gift for my father. They state on their website that it should be delivered within 5-7 working days. It is now the 6th day and I have not received anything or heard as to whether it has been dispatched so a rang them. After making up some rubbish about some problem with paypal I was told they would ensure my item was in the post today. Again there was poor communication and they should realise customers aren't stupid - Don't lie.All in all my experiences with cruise have not been good. I gave them a second chance and again they were appalling - IF YOU CAN BUY THE ITEM ELSEWHERE, DO NOT BUY FROM CRUISE.
