A quirky and unusual venue that serves a whole range of purposes and is an absolute boon to Newcastle and the Ouseburn. Fantastic burgers if you choose them, and everything is available in multiple vegetarian or vegan alternatives. The range of drinks on the bar is excellent and I would say their beer and cider is second to none for variation. I was here for a live music gig and the new layout of the small venue is a bit of an improvement, mostly in that there is now a bar available downstairs

Good atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon. The beer selection is quality and this is a very dog friendly bar. Funny smell around the area up the stairs potentially from the restrooms so we ended up standing around the bar. Live music venue with plenty of good acts.

The Cluny is not as good as it once was. The beer selection isn't as good as other pubs in the area. They still put on some good gigs and there is something on most nights. The gig venues (there are two) have character although the acoustics aren't great and there always seems to be some issues with the sound.Still worth a visit as part of the Ouseburn trail but I'd choose another nearby pub if I was only going to visit one. Unless I wanted to get food, which The Cluny serves until evening.

So glad these guys bought themselves out when Cameron's took over the Head of Steam chain and started ruining it. Always a great beer selection, usually decent food if the kitchen's open, and the best live music venue in Newcastle.

Great pub and they have some fab bands on.Very kindly gave a room for Marie curie charity great venue to show case a great band 'Cows Lying Down'. Excelled night.
